If you own a home, chances are you've Googled your address at least once to see what it might be worth. (No judgment—we all want to know. 😉)
But your home's value is only part of the picture.
One of the tools I offer my clients is Homebot, a personalized home wealth report designed to help homeowners keep a better eye on one of their biggest financial assets—their home.

What Is Homebot?
Homebot gives you a personalized online dashboard for your property and sends you an updated Home Digest each month.
Instead of having to continually search online, you can easily keep tabs on things like:
Your estimated home value
How your value may be changing over time
Your estimated home equity
What's happening in your local market
Your potential purchasing power if you're considering another home
Different ways you may be able to use the equity you've built
You can even adjust the estimated value if you know something the automated data doesn't—like a major renovation or improvement you've made.
Why I Like It for Homeowners
Most homeowners don't need a formal home valuation every month.
But I do think it's helpful to have a general idea of how your home and equity are changing over time—especially if you're starting to think about selling, buying another property, remodeling, or simply planning for the future.
Your home may be one of your largest financial assets. Homebot gives you an easy way to stay connected to what that asset may be doing without having to become a real estate expert yourself.
Is the Homebot Value Exactly What My Home Would Sell For?
Not necessarily—and this is important.
Homebot uses technology and available property and market data to generate an automated estimate. It can't always account for the things a buyer might notice immediately, such as your home's condition, upgrades, lot, view, floor plan or other features that can affect market value.
If you're seriously considering selling, that's when a more detailed analysis becomes important. I can look at your home individually, compare it with the most relevant recent sales and help you determine a realistic range for today's market.
But for keeping an eye on things month to month? Homebot is a pretty handy tool.

And of course, whenever you want to talk about what the numbers actually mean—or what your home might realistically sell for—I'm always here to help.
